Bronzed Godess or Streaky Tangerine? (REVIEW)

As fake tanning is a massive part of my ‘going out routine’ I’m constantly on the hunt for new tanning products on the market that won’t break the bank. When I first saw Cocoa Brown being advertised by popular influencers I was automatically interested, however I never thought to buy it until recently.

As I have eczema prone skin I have always been cautious with fake tans that aren’t wash off as they wouldn’t damage my sensitive skin, for months I have used Rimmels wash off fake tan and before that was the Soap and Glory Fake Tan; both I absolutely love for wash off tan.

Since I was after something more permanent and to hid the pale sickly hangover look which isn’t cute. I came across another eczema suffers blog who said they used Cocoa Brown tan and it didn’t affect their skin, I was also surprised to find out the creator Marissa Carter hadĀ psoriasis which made this fake tan even more appealing as she wouldn’t create something which would harm her skin.

I picked up the ‘Night & Day Tan’ which is a 2 in 1 of instant tan plus a gradual tanner which will give you a subtle glow for a 5 days after you wash it off (Ideal to hid the hungover look). For this product there is only 1 shade however this is buildable so suits people who like a soft glow or if you like a dark tan like myself (think stepping of a plane after 3 weeks in Spain) you can apply more layers, however wait till each layer has dried before applying more layers as this can remove the tan under neither which is the mistake I made.

The constancy of this tan is a thick foam which makes it very smooth and easy to apply but my favourite thing about this tan is the scent: No more biscuit smells gals!

As a first time user of Cocoa Brown I am very impressed with the product and will definitely be investing in this tan again. Cocoa Brown is available in Tesco, Superdrug, Primark, House of Frazer, River Island, Feel Unique and Lloyds Pharmacy.

Thank you for reading and I really hope you found this helpful!

Introduction..

After watching and reading so many blogs over the recent years, I’ve decided to take the plunge and start my own. I’ve tried many times to take up blogging but the industry always seemed very daunting to try and get into, however recently I’ve started taking risks, not being bothered about what other people think and doing my own thing; so here goes nothing.

I am trying to push myself out of my comfort zone and try new things, travel to new places, and be myself more; A Mid Year Resolution (since my New Years resolutions lasted about 2 weeks).

This blog could possibly end up with 0 followers and about 2 posts in a year or it could end up being a hobby I follow through with, I suppose we’ll all just have to wait and see.

As this is only the introduction I don’t want to ramble on too much so, I’ll be back with a new blog post very soon hopefully!
